Spectrum Analysis
Consulting Services
Consulting Services Available?
JMS founder, consultant Morris Engelson, Is available to provide
private consulting on various aspects of spectrum analysis. The
range of spectrum analysis applications and measurements involved
in such consulting is quite wide this includes, but is
not limited to, such topics as : EMI, digital modulation, EW,
wireless communications, broadcasting/CATV, pulsed systems, and
more.
A Typical Consulting Session
A typical consulting session usually lasts between one day
and one week. Some consulting issues are addressed at a distance
via e-mail, phone, or postal mail, while others require an on-site
visit to the client facility. An on-site visit might involve
laboratory measurements, seminar training, or consultations and
discussions on specific aspects of spectrum analysis. Some consulting
sessions involve a combination of the above. Often, on-site consulting
sessions involve a private version of the public Spectrum Analyzer
seminar described elsewhere.
Advantages of A Private Spectrum Analyzer Seminar Presentation
A private spectrum analyzer seminar presentation can have
a number of advantages compared to a public seminar. First,
we present only a few public seminars each year and these may
not fit your time or location needs. A private seminar presentation
will be on your premises at a time that is convenient for you.
Second, the content of a private seminar presentation
can be structured to emphasize your specific needs and applications.
Time duration and other features, such as laboratory measurements
on your signals, can be incorporated. Third, you will
be able to discuss private or confidential topics in a private
seminar presentation. And last, your overall cost may
be lower if you have a fairly large group of people (break-even
for a private seminar compared to a public seminar is at 12 to
15 people).
At the same time, it's important to note that public seminars
do have their advantages too, such as significantly lower cost
when just a few people are involved and the opportunity to meet
and interface with, as well as learn from, people from other
organizations with similar interests.
