Sophie C. Hopkins was born to famous screen actress Shirley Knight and famous English playwright John Richard Hopkins. She has two half sisters, Justine Hopins from her father's first marriage, and actress Kaitlin Hopkins from her mother's first marriage. Sophie enjoys skiing, rollerskating, singing and playing the piano. She has become an accomplished screen and TV writer, and wrote the Fox TV "Night Visions" episodes, Still Life, Rest Stop and After Life, the first episode of which aired on August 30, 2001, and recently re-aired on the Sci-Fi TV Channnel. She also has written at least one episode for the Sci-Fi Channel series "Farscape" called 'Natural Election'. Sophie has also excelled at being a model. She stands 5 ft. 9 inches, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She occasionally accompanies her mother to movie premieres and special events. She has just completed her first novel.
