SO in LOVE
Piper Laurie is young and lovely...but her problem is as old as Adam and Eve

*Piper Laurie's problem is one that no young person is immune to- rich or poor, famous or not, talented or untalented- it can come to anybody. Piper is in love- seriously, at last. The man is talented Gene Nelson of the dancing feet. After a good many separations and numerous reconciliations that didn't last, Gene and his wife were divorced. It was not a happy thing and Piper knows that for Gene those were months of great confusion that he now looks back on with real regret. But they were part of his past and a part that a young girl in love finds hard to overlook. Then too, there is the disturbing problem of different religiions- a serious matter that simply being in love cannot erase. Piper's problem is a great one, because her feelings for Gene are deep and true. But she wants her marriage to be lasting and is far too mature to overlook all differences in the blind hope that love will win the day forever. So she thinks about her problem, dates Gene to the exclusion of all others and worries about how things will turn out. Welcome relief came when her adored poodle had pups and Piper could throw herself into the task of caring for the delicate little creatures. It was something to occupy her for awhile and such a total change from her more important concern: what to do about Gene and her love for him. But no diversion can change the fact that the problem still exists and, until she makes up her mind once and for all, it will be the most important thing in Piper Laurie's life.
