JET THAT GOT WET HAS LOST ITS RUDDER
MR. NIGHTLIFE: Maureen O'Hara has tapped a new source of income- TV's Home
Shopping Network. "I'm selling only products from Ireland, and they sell out
quickly, ' the bouncy movie siren said Thursday night at the Missouri Athletic Club.
O'Hara
sat with Carole and Jack Buck and Lee and Michael Roarty, at "The Inaugural
Spring Ball of the Midwest Region Chapter, Ireland Chamber of Commerce in the United
States." More than 300 black-tie guests paid $150 to attend the gala, which
was chaired by Bob Muldoon. Honorary chairman was Jim Malloy, retired CEO of Jefferson
Smurfit Container Corp. O'Hara livees in St. Croix when not in Ireland, where she'll
be in July for the Maureen O'Hara Golf Tournament. In her three decades on the silver
screen, O'Hara deadlined such classics as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame,"
"Miracle on 34th Street" and "How Green Was My Valley"...
