Elle Fanning was born on April 9, 1998 in Conyers, Georgia. She is the younger sister of the accomplished child actress Dakota Fanning. She moved with her family from Georgia to California in the year 2000. She has played the younger Dakota in two films, I Am Sam and the TV miniseries Taken. She recently appeared in the Eddie Murphy film Daddy Day Care, and the film Door in the Floor, in which Kim Bassinger plays her mother, and will appear in the 2005 film To Live and Die in Win-Dixie..
