DAKOTA FANNING
What's your latest project?
I worked on a mini-series Steven Spielberg
was the executive producer- and it's called "Taken"
What part
do you play?
I'm an alien- it's about alien abductions.
Did you
have to be in a lot of makeup for the role?
Actually I look like a normal
girl but I've got special powers. I can heal gunshot wounds and I can stop time.
Can
you talk a little about your role in "Sweet Home Alabama?"
I play
a young Reese Witherspoon.
What was that like?
That was really cool.
I got to kiss a little boy. I was 7 and he was 10, and his name is Thomas Curtis.
He was the frist boy I've ever kissed in my entire life and he was three years older
than me.
Did you get to work with Reese Witherspoon at all in this film?
No,
because I did one scene at the beginning of the movie and then it goes to Reese grown
up, later on, but I got to meet her. She's so beautiful and so nice.
And
you'll be starring in "Cat in the Hat?"
I'm going to be Sally and
I'm so, so excited! It starts filming in September.
It sounds like you've
been very busy. Any other projects?
I'm in "Trapped," with Charlize
Theron, Kevin Bacon, Stuart Townsend, and Coutney Love.
How do you handle
all this attention?
It's just really exciting (giggling)
