A PLUMMER ROLE FOR A YOUNG TALENT: Florence MacGregor has been cutting quite a
swath at the Stratford Festival for the last few years, but this summer, she'll be
tackling Shakespeare of a different stripe.
She's been named the winner of
the Shakespeare Globe Centre of Canada's Christopher Plummer Scholarship Award. She'll
join 15 other apprentices from around the world for four weeks of master classes
with leading professional's at the Globe Theater in London, England-- the faithful
recreation of the Bard's theatre.
Meanwhile, rumours persist that Plummer
will return to our Stratford Festival next season, but not in My Fair Lady.
