Ruth, 14; Grace, 13; Abraham, 8; John, 5; Isaac, 2; and Jacob, b. on the passage; freem. 4 Mar. 1635, d. 13, bur. 15 June 1672, aged, says the rec. of ch. 91; and his wid. Frances d. 13 Jan. 1683, aged 100, says the rec. of the town, with greater exaggera. Ruth m. a Bennett, for whose ch. John, the gr.f. liberal. provid.; Grace m. 14 Sept. 1644, William Tay of Boston, aged d. 11 Apr. 1712, aged 91, as the town rec. says correct."

"FOOTE, or FOOT, ...(19773ix) JOSHUA, Roxbury, cit. and ironmong. of London, had large dealings with our peop. 1645, came in 1653, rem. soon to Providence, there d. a. 1655. In his will of 2 Oct. 1655, under wh. admin. was giv. at Boston, 31 Oct. foll. to (18555iii) Joshua Hewes, to wh. William Blaxton was witn. he gave est. to w. and ch. but does not name them, and I presume they cont. at London. Our rec. shows that his s. was Samuel, and a. 1650, his d. Elizabeth m. William Sheldon of London; or, at least, the contract form. between the parties is in our books."

From an abstract of the record of the apprenticeship agreement of our Nathaniel Foote from the Court Rolls of the Borough of Colchester is as follows:
"(9886) Nathaniel Foote aged 16 years, son of (19772) Robert Foot of Shalford in Com. Essex yeoman doth put himself apprentice to Samuel Croylye of Colchester, aforesaid grocer and Free Burgess from the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel last past for the term of eight years. Dated 21 Sept. V James I (1608). Sealed and delivered in the presence of me Robert Foot and of me George Lumpkin."
