"DOOLITTLE, ...(2504) *ABRAHAM, Boston, went to New Haven 1644, had [[vol. 2, p. 60]] (2504[1]b) Sarah; (2504[1]a) Abraham, b. 12 Feb. 1650; (2504[1]c) Elizabeth 12 Apr. 1652; (2504[1]d) Mary, 22 Feb. 1654, wh. perhaps d. young; (2504[1]e) John, 14 June 1655; the four last bapt. 26 Apr. 1657; (2504[1]f) Abigail, bapt. 22 May 1659, d. young; these, it is said, were by first w. and the foll. by (2505) Abigail Moss, d. of (5010) John, m. 2 July 1663, his sec. w.; (1252) Samuel, b. 7 July 1665; (2505[1]ii) Joseph, 12 Feb. 1667; (2505[1]iii) Abigail, again, 26 Feb. 1669. He was rep. 1668 and 72, but rem. to Wallingford 1670, there had (2505[1]iv) Ebenezer, a. 1672; (2505[1]vi) Daniel, 1675, beside two ds. perhaps, and certain. (2505[1]vii) Theophilus; and d. 11 Aug. 1690. In his will he names w. Abigail, the seven s. and three ds. (2505[1]vii) Sarah Ebenatha, (2504[1]b) Elizabeth Brockett, and Abigail, unm. Early it was Dowlittle. The name became common at W."
