*"Van Neste, Jerominus & Susanna: Petrus 30 Jan. 1736/37
"1742 18 Jun; Ryner Sukle, jm, liv Raritan, N.J.; Magery Quik, jd, liv Rochester. -584" --Marriage Records, RDC Kingston
The "jm" indicates that Ryner was not previously married, but we know that he and Martie had a child baptised prior to this. It is possible that Rynier and Martie were not actually married.

Haplogroup R1b1b2 has a high correlation with the Atlantic Modal Haplotype (AMH), the most common haplotype in the world. The Ferdinandus Vansichelaer haplotype, however, differs from the AMH in 2 of 6 markers and is not very common: There are only two exact matches on Ysearch -- one from Ireland, and one from Wales. The result is consistent with the Dutch or Belgian ancestry postulated for the Van Sickles.
