(32[2]) Catherine Floyd was daughter of Judge Thomas Floyd (presumably descended from William Floyd, a signer of the Declaration of Independence) and Katherine Jones.

There was a "Nicholas Shoemaker 2nd" of Towanda, Bradford, PA who married Jesta A. Keeler 10 Dec. 1835 in Towanda. I seriously doubt that this was my (iii) Nicholas. "Nicholas Shoemaker" was also listed three times (1843,59,60) as Justice of the Peace of Town for Barton, Tioga, NY; but this may have been (65viii) Nicholas (s/o (64) Daniel Shoemaker) or some other.

(64) Daniel removed from Smithfield to Luzerne Co., PA, where he bought a number of lots in Kingston Township. He later sold these to his nephew, (67[1]a) Colonel Elijah Shoemaker Jr., whose father, (67[1]) Elijah Sr. had been killed defending Forty Fort. 64. Daniel Shoemaker served as a Lieutenant in the
PA Militia (S28875), Capt. John Van Etten's (Northampton) Co., Col. Jacob Stroud's Regt. After his own father's death, 64. Daniel and his sisters removed to Nichols, in the vicinity of Owego, N. Y., where his son, Robert, born 1785, died Sept. 11, 1802. 64. Daniel Shoemaker was a taxpayer in Kingston in 1796.
(65iv) John Shoemaker married first to Sarah, daughter of Francis Joseph Smith (a political refugee from France) and Elizabeth Brodhead. He married second to Nancy Hanna, daughter of John Hanna and Margaret McCulloch, and widow of John Swartwout.
