ANDY'S STEAM BOAT |
Probably one of the smallest "people carrying" steamboats; "V" bottom hull, 12' 2.5" LOA by 5' beam, powered by a 2" x 2" Stuart No. 1. With the exception of the engine castings, everything was made from scratch. |

S.T. CHALLENGE |
Built in 1931 for Elliott Steam Tug of London, UK, she is 110' LOA with a 1150 HP triple expansion engine. She was very active during WWII, participating in the evacuation from Dunkirk. She is owned & maintained by The Dunkirk Little Ships Restoration Trust. |

S.T. DANIEL ADAMSON |
Built in the United Kingdom by the Tranmere Bay Development Co.in 1903 as a "tug-tender" and rescued from the breakers, she is currently undergoing restoration and her coal fired boiler and twin compound engines will turn once more. |

Built for Horace Dodge in 1921 by the Great Lakes Engineering Works, she is 258' long and powered by two 1500HP quadruple expansion engines designed by Horace Dodge. Currently undergoing extensive restoration. |

S.S. ELIZA HOBSON |
Built in 1996 to replicate the type of steam launches ( she is 30' LOA ) used in New Zealand at the turn of the 19th/20th Century, she makes her home in the Bay of Islands, Kerikeri, Northland, and is a charter steamboat. |

22' plywood and epoxy fiberglass hull. She uses the very unique (for a steamboat) balanced poppet valve uniflow engine once in S.L. Rockabill as well as an excellent Bolsover boiler. |

S.S. ERIC NORDEVALL II |
90' LOA x 22' beam, this side paddle vessel is an authentic replica of the Eric Nordevall commissioned in 1836 which plied the Gota Canal in Sweden. The two sidelever engines are being built by the same company which built the originals! |

A beautiful sidewheeler located in Switzerland, the 24'6' hull was built in 1987 by Glyn Lancaster Jones of the UK. The engines are in the traditional Swiss lake sidewheeler style. Only in German, but well worth a look! |

A 23'6" Elliott Bay hull powered by a double simple 2-1/2" x 3" bronze Pearl Engine and Ofeldt boiler. Located in Germany, the owner is doing most of the work himself. Good tips and ideas - the site is in German and English | ||
S.W. MY SIDEWHEELER |
Not a lot of dimensional information, but the owner, Ken Brockway is building the entire vessel himself, powering her with a Pearl Engine turning the paddleshaft with a step down chain drive. Check the "My Trailer" area for additional boat hull photos. |

The S.C. stands for Steam Catamaran - 15' 9" in length and powered by a steam outboard. The builder, Art Miller, is in his late teens. Good construction pics. And he is now using "Live Journal" as a way to keep all informed of the progress. |
