Hobby Steamboaters Web Ring

Why This Site and What It's About

S.L. Quickstep

The Web is a wonderful way to indulge your interests. But most search engines will make you wade through lists of sites that are not remotely connected with what you want. Steamboating is no exception. And although many of us have some sort of list of links, it cannot be comprehensive and good sites are missed by the casual browser, who often becomes discouraged by lists of real estate firms or ski lodges that use similar key words.

REGISTER YOU WEB SITE

This ring does not include museums, most clubs and organizations, and vendors as there are so many of these - and their interests are sometimes only partially related to the hobby - that the links would be multiplied by a factor of five or more. Many steamboater web sites have lists of links which will take you (directly or indirectly) to all these groups. Thus the primary criteria to be listed in this web ring is:
A personal and non-commercial web page that
     is primarily about hobby steamboating.

STEAMBOATING CLUBS

I have added a page that lists clubs and societies that maintain a web presence and deal primarily with hobby steamboating. The page provides links to their sites.

WEB SITES LIST

The "Steamboaters Web Ring" icon is your key to unlocking the fun (and sometimes frustrating) world of hobby steamboating. Select it now and you will be taken to the page with a list of Hobby Steamboaters Web Ring member sites. Select the site of your interest - or just browse. We're all very friendly and welcome "newbies", so don't be shy - email any of us. If you discover - somewhere out there in Web Land - a site that is not listed, or if you find a broken link on our listings page, please EMAIL me.
