Our Regular Dialin PPP Access offers an outstanding value for home based offices, telecommuters and personal use. Regular Dialin PPP Access includes 120 hours per month. With this account, we do provide the services for WWW, Usenet News, Int ernet Mail Service and Full Internet Access. You get a full 10 megs of web page storage on our web server. This account comes with 1 e-mail box, you can have up to 3 aliases with this account. For additional e-mail boxes the cost is $5.00 per e-mail box. See PPP Policies.

Mail List Servers



Mailing lists (discussion lists) are a great way for companies to keep their customers informed of new products, offerings and specials. Individuals can share expertise, likes and dislikes of the latest movies, even what is happening this weekend at a hot, new fishing spot. These lists can be tailored to your specific needs, including public vs. restricted mailing lists, subscription and/or post moderation, reply-to list vs reply-to sender, trailers and more. are. You can have a mailing list as small as 15 or as big as 1500 or more. There is a Web interface for administration as well as list signup. Signup as well as administration is done through a Secure Web Server.

You do NOT have be a Virtual Web Host customer to host your own mailing list(s), or even have your own domain. It should also be noted that this service is not to be used for Unsolicited Bulk Emailings. PCEZ.COM terms of service prohibit UBE under any and all circumstances.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

We have version 3 of MS Internet Explorer that is set up and ready to go for PCEZ.COMŽ. There are 2 different versions that we have for Windows 95 and one for Windows 3.1 users. One of the Win 95 versions includes mail and news, while the other includes mail, news, NetMeeting, ActiveMovie, HTML Layout Control, and Comic Chat. All the files are big, the windows 3.1 version is about 4.6 megs and with Win95 versions are 7.2 megs and 12 megs. The Win95/NT version is 3.02 the Win3.1 version is 3.01 both with security fixes.

AM Browser (formerly Crazy Browser)

The folks at AM Browser (http://www.ambrowser.com) have produced a great, new alternative to Internet Explorer and Netscape. This fun browser includes features to stop PopUp boxes as well as more handy features th at will help you surf faster and better! It is extremely easy to install and setup. It does require that you have Internet Explorer installed, and you must have atleast version 5.0 or greater.

Firefox Browser

The Firefox browser http://getfirefox.com is one of the most trusted browsers available. It has several security features that make for a more secure internet experience.

In Firefox you can set up "Extensions". You will find this under the "Tools" Menu option. Once the "Extensions" box is open there is a link at the bottom right that is labled "Get More Extensions". This leads to a Web page that has all types of extensions. On the left had side of this Web page you will see "Browse by Category". This is where you can go to select different types of extentions. We like setting up our browsers here at the office with the "Tabbed Browsing" extentions. The ones we like are: "Tabbrowser Preferences", "Colorful Tabs", "Duplicate Tab", "Tab Mix Plus", "FLST", "Open link in...", "OpenNewWindowFromHere".
Once you get these Extensions installed you have to re-start FireFox to get these to work. You will find your new Tab options available under the "Tools" menu then you will see "Tab Mix Plus Options" once you have intalled these Extentions.

Usage Policy for accounts


Our Regular and Unlimited PPP and DSL accounts have some basic ground rules. Unlimited use is not the same as a dedicated connection. Regular or Unlimited PPP account users are not allowed to "Ping", "bot", or use any other automated system for the purpose of keeping their connection running while they are not actually using it. Anyone found to be doing so will have their account terminated. There will be no refunds. Regular and Unlimited PPP account users may not resell the service or have simultaneous access by multiple users using the same user ID. Regular and Unlimited PPP accounts shall not be used to host a dedicated server site on the Internet. Users of all Accounts are not to flood (spam) Usenet or send unsolicited bulk email. Also, all users that send e-mail or post on news groups shall not use false names and/or e-mail addresses to attempt to hide their identity. Any user found to be sending unsolicited bulk email will be immediately removed and there will be no refunds.

Starting Nov 1 , 1996, Regular 120 hour PPP accounts will be billed for $.50 per hour over the 120 hour amount. You will be billed the next billing cycle for this overage. For this purpose the period of measurement is for the calender month.

Starting July 1, 1997, If you send in a payment for an account, that is in excess of the amount due but less than $0.50 over the amount due the extra amount will not be credited to the next payment. Example: If you send in a payment of $20.00 for and account that is $19.95 the extra nickel will not be credited to the next payment. With our accounting software it creates more of a problem that the five cents is worth!

The first time a user signs up for a PPP account there are NO "Set Up Fees". When a previous client signs backup for the service (ie. they have dropped the service for what ever reason) there is a Set Up Fee of $25.

It is our policy to give a free month to a paying PPP client of ours when they bring on a new PPP customer. This does not apply for a new client that signed up at one of the Computer stores that sells our accounts. This credit is not applied till the new PPP customer makes their first payment.

We are not responsible for your phone bill. If your are in a area that is outside our local dialin areas, you need to make sure that the dial-up number you are using is a local number to you. If you do not know how to do this contact our support staff.

You, the User, are responsible for all charges associated with connecting to PCEZ.COMŽ. The User AGREES THAT ANY TELEPHONE CHARGES INCURRED ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. DEPENDING ON YOUR PARTICULAR LOCATION, THE NEAREST ACCESS NUMBER MAY NOT BE A LOCAL PHONE CALL AND YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO LONG DISTANCE CHARGES. You should check with your local phone company to determine whether any specific access number is a local call. If you access PCEZ.COMŽ from certain access numbers, you may be assessed communication surcharges on your phone bill. These apply even if you are using an unlimited access plan. You are responsible for all activities and charges under your master and sub-account(s), including any unauthorized charges to your account.

Service is on a prepaid basis only. If user gives PCEZ.COMŽ a credit card number (real credit card or debit with visa or master card logos) to pay account, user agrees that PCEZ.COMŽ may submit Account charges monthly, quarterly, half or yearly without further authorization, until User provides notice of termination of such use. Each time you use PCEZ.COMŽ you agree and reaffirm that PCEZ.COMŽ is authorized to charge your designated card. You agree that PCEZ.COMŽ may, at its option, accumulate charges during your billing cycle and submit them as one or more aggregate charges during or at the end of each cycle for electronic funds transfer from your checking account or credit card as applicable. This means that accumulated charges may appear on the statement you receive from your bank or card issuer. Further, you agree that PCEZ.COMŽ may delay obtaining authorization from your card issuer until submission of the accumulated charges.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

PCEZ.COM will NEVER sell or give away your personal information unless ordered by the court or goverment under subpoena. We do not keep data bases full of information on what web sites you visit or who you email or any other Internet activity you might be engaged in. We know that most people consider their personal privacy to be worth a lot more than a few dollars each month and we will protect your personal privacy.
