How To Change Your Local Dial-up Number |
Below you will find instructions on how to change your local dial-up number. |
| Step 1 - In the upper left hand corner of your screen double-click
My Computer. You should get a screen like this one.

Step2 - Double-click Dial-Up Networking

| Step 3 - Right click the PCEZ.comŽ icon. Select Properties.
|
Step 4 - Input the correct Area code and Phone
Number. See our local Access Numbers page.
(Incorrect numbers could result in large Telco or long distance charges.) Click OK at the
bottom. |
| Step 5 - Close all your open windows. Open My computer again.
This time double-click Control Panel
|
Step 6 - Double-click the Modems icon
|
Step 7 - Click on the Dialing Properties button. |
| Step 8 - Input your area code. Click OK until you are back to the Control
Panel. Close the Control Panel. You are now ready to connect using your new local dial-up number.
