Events are arranged by date in ascending order. A "whistle" in front of an event denotes a recent listing. Whenever possible a hyperlink to a website/page of an event, or a person to email for information about a listing, has been included.

NWSS Board Meetings - All Board Meetings are open to Members of the Northwest Steam Society. For the year 2008 they will be held on the following Saturdays: January 19 at Rob's 125th St. Grill, NW 125th and Aurora at 10AM; April 5, June 14 and October 4. Please always call in advance as they are held in private homes and accomodations are limited.

September 26 through 28 - B & W / Sacramento Delta Great Steamboat Meet, B & W Resort, Isleton, California. Absolutely out of the way in an area with plenty of sheltered steamboating. October 4 - Oregon Coast Steam Adventure, 10AM - 7:30PM, Garibaldi, Oregon. A daylong journey originating in Garibaldi over some tracks that have not seen steam locomotives since the fifties. First chug up the Oregon Coast with panoramic views of both Tillamook and Nehalem Bays. The vintage train then turns inland at Wheeler and snakes through the Nehalem River canyon; track conditions permitting, it will continue on to Salmonberry.
