NWSS Board Meetings - All Board Meetings are open to Members of the Northwest Steam Society. October 4 - Oregon Coast Steam Adventure, 10AM - 7:30PM, Garibaldi, Oregon. A daylong journey originating in Garibaldi over some tracks that have not seen steam locomotives since the fifties. First chug up the Oregon Coast with panoramic views of both Tillamook and Nehalem Bays. The vintage train then turns inland at Wheeler and snakes through the Nehalem River canyon; track conditions permitting, it will continue on to Salmonberry.
