Steaming at the 49^th Parallel on Vancouver Island in Canada
Hosted by the Ladysmith Maritime Society in Ladysmith, B.C.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday August 15^th/16^th& 17^th 2008

All registrants will receive a program of events and a name badge. For those bringing a steam launch, the registration fee includes: launching, haul out, trailer parking, moorage and a participant's plaque for your boat. Free R.V. dry parking is on grass or gravel and only minutes from the event site. You can reach Ladysmith on Vancouver Island by ferries from Tsawwassen, B.C.,Canada, Anacortes, WA, or Port Angeles, WA

The Friday Evening Social and the Saturday Banquet will be at the Eagles' Hall on 1^st Avenue. At the Social a home made Clam Chowder will be served. The banquet will feature a Smorgasbord style dinner with Ham, curried Chicken, Beef and Pork roasts, Vegetables, Potatoes, Salads and an Ice Cream Desert. Please let us know if you are a vegetarian. Wine and Beer at moderate prices.

Attractions: Steamboat parade, circumnavigation of Dunsmuir Islands, excursion to Evening Cove for wine & cheese, steam traction engines and steam cars, visit to Harry & Jim Blackstafff's steam collection, harbor tours, guided ladies tour of historic downtown Ladysmith.

Registrations must be received by August 8, 2008 at the latest.
